Why so negative about people advertising their music? I could only see a good opportunity to advertise on a music board in a forum because of the exposure. If you're going to downvote people because they want to boost their chances of getting noticed by a professional then don't do it at all. Some people actually respect the guys trying to make it to the top...

Because the music forum is for discussing music, not advertising music. It's advertising in places that it shouldn't be advertised that annoys me.
