Problem Sleuth- 9/10, would read again

yea it's a pretty good album but it's so depressing that it's hard to listen to often lmao

The part where he killed the dog really made me cringed. Also the whole exploding cop cars part really put it over the top.

2001- 8.5/10

Movie is fucking beautiful, you can pause at any time in the movie and have a cool as shit wallpaper, but the plot be 2 damn murky.

once you read up on the plot 2001 starts making some more sense

iirc the black monoliths represent the next stage of evolution

the monkeys find it, they become humans

humans find it, they become space gods

and Dave becomes the first one which is why he turns into that giant baby thing

I already knew this from reading it up on wikipedia way way way way back, but still kubrik can't make a understandable narrative to save his life.
