I was kinda disappointed that super meat boy didn't win independent game of the year, but I definitely think from what I had seen that Red dead redemption deserved its spot as game of the year 2010. Uncharted 3 is one of the few premiere games I'm looking forward to, and I'm glad scott pilgrim vs. the world won best adapted game, as that was the game that got me into paul robertson and his work with mechafetus. the highlights of the show were definitely Jose Gonzalez' performance, the TMZ spoof, and the In memoriam bit.

Guillermo Del Toro's new game = HOLY AWESOME.

...? you got any more info other than a generic 30 second trailer?

naw man but it's Guillermo Del Toro doing a horror video game, it's gonna be sick.

still, don't count your eggs too early. at least till we get a trailer with actual words in it before saying "HOLY AWESOME" :p

Did any Nintendo games win anything?

not as far as I know. but i didn't see half of it so IDK

I don't get it, I mean is that they think if it isn't a shooter or fighter game then it sucks?

But there are like eight call of duty games, all of which are pretty much the same but with some added bonuses that people go nuts over even though in actually it's not an improvement in many ways.

Apparently Nintendo had no interest in the VGAs, meaning they didn't try to win anything like Microsoft and Sony did. Super Mario Galaxy got nominated, but that's about it.
